Pennsylvania Senators Daylin Leach and Sharif Street introduced SB 350, the Adult Use Cannabis bill on Tuesday of this week.
The bill would allow adults 21 and older to possess, cultivate and purchase cannabis from licensed retailers. It would also automatically expunge criminal convictions for cannabis-related offenses (so long as the conduct giving rise to the offense did not cause bodily harm and did not cause property damage) and dismiss any pending criminal charges related to cannabis.
SB 350, if passed, would also allow people to use cannabis in public places called "use lounges" and provide opportunities for people of all income levels to enter the cannabis industry.
