Report: Raiders Plan to Suspend Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown

According to Adam Schefter at ESPN, Antonio Brown and Raiders General Manager Mike Mayock "got into it" on Wednesday and the team is planning on suspending AB.

Apparently the exchange was pretty heated, and according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, Brown had to be held back by a couple of teammates.

There are also more details coming in from Complex Sports. They tweeted that AB reportedly told GM Mike Mayock that he would hit him in the face, punted the ball and said "fine me for that."

Schefter also added that many people around the NFL think that Oakland "could suspend Antonio Brown with the idea of trying to void the $30.125 million of guaranteed money in his contract." If that happened, his time with the Raiders would be done.

This a developing story, but it's going to be interesting to see how it ends up playing out.
