This can't be good...Gregg's really been battling some serious health problems the past couple years, from pneumonia to vocal chord/throat issues as well...In fact, before Allman Bros. drummer Butch Trucks died in late January, Butch himself in an interview said he didn't think The Allman Bros. would ever reunite again, because of Gregg's health...Gregg had a liver-transplant in 2010, he was huge boozer and drug abuser for much of his life, but always a nice guy....we've interviewed Gregg many times over the years at DVE...
