Nobody scalps Eric Church concert tickets and gets away with it -- not on the country star's watch.
Eric is taking a stand against ticket scalpers. Nearly 1,000 tickets that were purchased by scalpers for shows in Brooklyn, Boston and Sioux Falls were taken back and put back on sale yesterday, as revealed by a post on Church's Facebook page.
Eric's Facebook post revealed that in the tickets taken back from the scalpers, there are some great seats available, and that he would not "let scalpers beat out true fans." Check out his statement:
"We identified nearly a thousand tickets that were purchased by scalpers and were able to take the tickets back. We are putting some great seats back on sale Thursday at 10 am local time on the official ticketing sites for venues in Brooklyn, Boston, and Sioux Falls. Eric is not going to let scalpers beat out true fans!"
So, scalpers beware!
Eric will be kicking off 2017 by heading out on his "Holdin' My Own Tour," which begins on January 13th in Nebraska, and hit 60 cities across the country. The trek will end in Nashville with two shows.
