For much of recent Rock and Roll history, the two Van Halen frontmen: David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar, have had a contentious and competitive relationship, with Sammy even saying, referring to the 2002 "Sam and Dave" tour, where the guys took turns headlining, he "wanted to break that guy's fucking neck." Now, with Sammy winding up his Las Vegas residency tomorrow night, and Roth kicking off a summer tour July 22nd, Sam's extending an olive branch, and urging fans to support Dave, as well as come to Hagar's show...from Sammy: "We were both involved (in Van Halen), and both had pluses and minuses." And "I believe we are both doing our best, and I'm actually happy. Dave is supporting his era, and I will support mine." "The fans deserve it, good or bad."
The closest David Lee Roth's tour will come to Pittsburgh is Bethlehem, PA August 17th, and Cincinnati August 21st. Here's more from Sammy, and more about Dave's tour: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/sammy-hagar-supports-david-lee-roth-tour/
