You can't get much bigger in rock and roll than Heart has been over the years, but in a recent interview, the band's Nancy Wilson admitted that when Heart was first trying to find an audience and hit it big, they were jealous of Fleetwood Mac, who had just been launched into superstardom with the "Rumours" album...Nancy explains that "there was two women in it that sounded so good together, and they had the acoustic guitar kind of thing." "They had something we were trying to capture." "Damn it! What makes us so different now?" Turns out Heart and Fleetwood Mac were never really compared, mostly because of the power of Heart's sound, and Ann Wilson's voice in particular. Nancy says "So lucky for us, we had Ann"...Here's much more from Nancy, as we get ready for the return of Heart with Cheap Trick to PPG Paints Arena Thursday, May 23rd: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/nancy-wilson-heart-jealous-fleetwood-mac/
