The documentary about the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival Festival in 1969, Revival 69: The Concert that Rocked the World, is getting a digital release this summer!
It was originally released on Video-On-Demand back in 2022. If you missed that (like me), put June 28th on your calendar...that's when it will be out on digital and also in select theaters around the country.
John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band were late adds to the lineup, which also included The Doors, Chicago, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Gene Vincent, Bo Diddley and Alice Cooper.
Geddy Lee from was Rush was also there and is featured in the doc (but he was only 16 years old at the time).
