The NFLPA has released Team Report Cards.

According to NFLPA.com, "For many years, players have brought up the idea of creating a “Free Agency Guide,” which would contain information that can help illuminate what that daily experience is like for players and their families from team to team. If knowledge is really power, then providing players with information about each club would not only help them make important career decisions, but it would also help raise the standards across each club."

Here's how the Steelers were graded in each of the 8 categories:

  • Treatment of Families: D+
  • Food Service/Nutrition: B+
  • Weight Room: C
  • Strength Conditioning: A-
  • Training Room: D-
  • Training Staff: B+
  • Locker Room: D+
  • Team Travel: B

Based on those results, the Steelers rank 22nd overall in the NFL.

If you dig a little deeper into the team's report card, the NFLPA says there is a feeling among players that there is a lack of resources and investment into the facility, the weight room and training rooms are both understaffed, and there is also a lack of a family room and daycare for the players’ families on gameday.
