It's Pat Benatar's most performed song ever, but she says she won't be singing it on her current U.S. tour. "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" will be missing from the set list, she says, out of respect for the victims of the recent string of U.S. mass shootings and their families. She told USA Today "[the title] is tongue in cheek. But you have to draw the line. I can't say those words out loud with a smile on my face. I just can't."
