The Steelers announced Tuesday afternoon that they have terminated the contract of LB Vince Willams.
Jeremy Fowler from ESPN first reported the news, and said the move ends up saving the team about $4 million in cap space.
Fowler also Tweeted that he "caught up" with Williams, who told him that his release been in the works for a few days.
Williams was drafted by the Steelers in the 6th round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
