Steelers RT Zach Banner posted a heartfelt video on Twitter Monday evening where he thanked fans for their support and announced he is having what will likely be season-ending knee surgery on Friday.
Along with the video Banner wrote, "Last night I showed I belong in this league. I’m very optimistic about the future, and excited to be back stronger and better next year. #HulkSmash"
It's not exactly clear what the injury is, but according to Tom Pelissero from the NFL Network, sources said the initial diagnoses was a torn ACL.
