Joe Walsh was a student at Kent State University on that day, 50 years ago yesterday, that students were protesting the U.S. expanding into Cambodia during the Vietnam War, and National Guard fired into a group of students, killing four and wounding nine....there was to be a commemorative day at Kent State yesterday, and included Joe Walsh singing with David Crosby, but the commemoration was cancelled because of COVID-19...here, Joe talks about what it was like in the country back then, and why we should all remember what the social climate was like then for all people involved....Joe, by the way, dropped out of school after the Kent State incident, went to Cleveland, and grew in his music career with the James Gang...here's Joe taking us back to 1970 https://ultimateclassicrock.com/joe-walsh-kent-state-shootings/
