Allegheny County Health Department released their daily update for COVID-19 cases in the area.

As of this morning, there are now 1,235 cases (confirmed or probable) in the county. 222 of those cases (past or present) have required hospitalization. Out of those 222, eighty-seven have been admitted to the ICU with fifty requiring the use of a ventilator. There have been seventy-nine deaths. 16,215 test have been administered.

Breakdown of cases by age group:

  • 0-9 years: 7
  • 10-19 years: 16
  • 20-29 years: 190
  • 30-39 years: 154
  • 40-49 years: 156
  • 50-59 years: 239
  • 60-69 years: 203
  • 70+ years: 270

Breakdown of cases by gender:

  • Female: 54%
  • Male: 46%
