Last night Governor Tom Wolf held a daily health update and shared his plan to re-open Pennsylvania gradually. It consists of three phases: Red, Yellow, and Green.
As of this morning, all 67 counties are in the most strict phase of his plan — the Red phase. He says that as conditions improve, counties and regions will have fewer restrictions as they move through to the next phase.
The stages are color-coded and as follows follows:
- Red: Stay-at-home orders remain in place. Only life-sustaining businesses are allowed to be open. People are to stay at home except for critical needs.
- Yellow: Some stay-at-home restrictions will be lifted. More businesses will open up while following social distancing guidelines. Restaurants will be limited to takeout. Child care reopens with strict protections.
- Green: This stage will have the least amount of restrictions. Stay-at-home order lifted. Most businesses allowed to re-open while following CDC guidelines.
