There has been a lot of news about t-shirts in the NFL over the past couple of weeks! It all started when a clothing company in Cleveland made a shirt that said "Pittsburgh Started It" after the first game between the Steelers and the Browns. That phrase was of course in reference to the brawl that broke out in the final seconds of the game.
News about that shirt died down a little bit in the days to come, but Freddie Kitchens wore one of them in public on Friday night when he went to see the Mister Rogers movie and it was back in the headlines. Kitchens' decision to wear the shirt was a hot topic on the NFL Today on Sunday afternoon prior to the second meeting of the Steelers and Browns this season, and Coach Cowher's reaction to Nate Burleson’s thoughts about it was classic!
I knew how the next part in this saga was going to play out if the Steelers beat the Browns, and it's exactly as I envisioned.
Moments after the Steelers won on Sunday, several clothing companies in the Pittsburgh area released new shirts that say, "Pittsburgh Finished It." Indeed they did....WHAT A GAME!! #HereWeGo
Commonwealth Press, Steel City Brand, and Pittsburgh Clothing Co. are all selling the shirts, which are sure to be a hot item this holiday season here in Pittsburgh!
