I met & interviewed the legendary Blues/Rock guitarist Johnny Winter 2X's, both at Nick's Fat City South Side. He was the nicest, soft spoken guy ever. He and Janis Joplin were lovers, briefly. Johnny Winter was a recovering heroin addict for the last 35 years of his life. He died today in Switzerland in 2014 of emphysema at the age of 70.
