Our own legendary afternoon DJ Sean McDowell will be hanging up the headphones on July 31st after forty-one years in radio and twenty six with WDVE. Sean started his career with WYDD New Kensington in 1978, and the rest is radio history. We're sad to see Sean leave, but will have two months to cherish the memories of his historical career. Sean McDowell announced his retirement earlier this morning with Randy Baumann and the DVE Morning Show, his last day will be July 31st. We take a trip with Sean and reminisce over his twenty six year career at DVE and beyond - from stories about meeting Van Halen and the glory days of radio to receiving gifts of turntable hash. He even gets a shout from Billy Gardell!
