Michael Anthony of Van Halen (ex-employee actually, he was fired by Eddie years ago and has never returned to the band since) has a birthday today. When VH was inducted into the R&R HOF in 2007, it was only Michael and Sammy Hagar who showed up at the podium to accept the honor (Eddie had fired Sammy previously too!). Bass players are so ignored and overlooked. There are some great bass player jokes too! Happy Birthday Michael Anthony, the only seemingly sane normal guy in Van Halen, and BTW, Michael's BG vocals were CRITICAL to the band's success!
