Rush fans are always looking for signs that the two surviving members of the group (after the death of drummer Neil Peart in 2020) may one day get back on the road and perform as Rush again...Guitarist Alex Lifeson talked recently of how he and bassist Geddy Lee, for the first time since they quit touring in 2005, have started hanging at Geddy's house once a week playing Rush songs again together, and "we sound like a really, really bad Rush cover band"...and he adds, "by the way, Rush songs are really hard!" Even though in recent months, Geddy Lee had said there was a chance maybe one day he and Alex may do live shows as Rush again, Lifeson, when asked, has said he just thinks it's a blast jammin' at Geddy's place: "We're not planning on going back on the road, find a new drummer, or anything like that. It's just fun to do it."
